Text to Internet Web page (3)

The text message is sent to our GSM modem which is connected to our server. The server will process the message and recognise where it comes from and what it has to do with the content. This is used on one of our sites where a customer has fluid pricing levels of cars on his web site. He simply sends a message "car123 price=12300". Our system checks who the message is from and then changes the price of the car with reference 123 to 12300.Once the system has been updated our client is sent a message to confirm that it has succeeded.

Of course our client could do this in many ways but this way means he can do it wherever he is without having to negotiate the internet, worry about passwords for FTP sites etc.
